(scriptureunion.org.au)SUA is a charitable 'limited by guarantee' not-for-profit organisation comprising more than 900 staff and thousands of volunteers, working with churches and serving in communities in all states and territories across Australia. All SUA staff and volunteers are empowered and equipped to champion a child safe culture and are committed to the highest standards of safety and care in our work with children, young people and families.  Role Requirements:The Regional Manager is the face of SUA in Tasmania, providing spiritual and strategic leadership across various ministries, networking and building relationships with external stakeholders, and demonstrating a passion to see SUA thrive in Tasmania. Reporting to the Group Director, South Zone, the Regional Manager will work with their field ministry teams to birth and grow ministry in Tasmania, including developing a sustainable funding base for activities.  You work will be supported with resources and expertise from SUA’s support teams. We are seeking an experienced ministry leader to oversee and supervise SUA ministries, ministry staff and volunteers. SUA has approximately 80 employees working in Tasmania, many engaged in school chaplaincy, along with 180 volunteers. This is an exciting time in SUA’s history, as we have recently merged into a national organisation with a strong focus on better supporting and growing local ministry.  If you are excited about leading at a pivotal point of change this could be the role for you!This is a flexible position, with part time hours possible for the right candidate. Our ideal candidate will be:Visionary and strategic, able to lead sustainable growth of SUA ministry in TasmaniaA relational leader, with experience in leading teams through changeExcited about providing spiritual leadership to the SUA movement in Tasmania.A great collaborator, skilled in building partnerships internally and externally to get the job done.Passionate about keeping people safe and experienced in building a culture of safety and care.
