( is a charitable 'limited by guarantee' not-for-profit organisation comprising more than 900 staff and thousands of volunteers, working with churches and serving in communities in all states and territories across Australia. All SUA staff and volunteers are empowered and equipped to champion a child safe culture and are committed to the highest standards of safety and care in our work with children, young people and families.   About the roleReporting to the Finance Manager and including both a local and national scope, you will play a pivotal role in the SUA national finance team and be responsible for delivering financial and accounting services for SU Australia operations.  Your duties in your new role will include, but are not limited to:Working collaboratively to transition SU Australia from legacy finance systems to Technology OneReconciling and maintaining funding records associated with the National School Chaplaincy ProgramChecking and approving accounts payable and journals prior to postingCoordinating the end of month process, producing and analysing monthly management reportsCoordination of the annual audit This 0.9 FTE role is for an initial 12 month contract period. The role is located in Brisbane, with access to our Fortitude Valley office essential. Working from home is an option, combined with regular attendance at the office.
