The Software Developer, in collaboration with other software development team members, is responsible for the ongoing maintenance and development of SU Australia's internal Intranet.  This role will facilitate the setup, testing and deployment of releases, code reviews, dependency upgrades, bug fixes and new feature development.   • Worked on multi-developer software development projects
  • PHP and JavaScript software development experience
  • Used SQL in development ideally MySQL/MariaDB
  • Experience developing in a Linux environment and writing robust production-grade Linux shell scripts
  • Worked on a large, complex codebase using Object-oriented design principles
  • Used a modern VCS, ideally git, to share code in a team environment

The following technical skills are also highly desirable for this role:
